Insomniac Events organized an electronic music festival at the Gorge Amphitheater in Gorge, WA, but had to cancel it due to the horrific incident.
Beyond Wonderland posted a tweet from their official account in which they appreciated the local authorities and staff for managing the situation quickly and sending their heartfelt condolences to the people killed in mass shooting and others injured.
Grant County Sheriff’s Authorities reported that the incident occurred at 8:30 P.M. local time, camping area of the festival, with the shooter firing randomly in the crowd due to which two dead and three were seen injured. However, authorities apprehended the gunman on the spot during the Wonderland music festival.

What is the reason for the Beyond Wonderland shooting?
According to NBC, Kyle Foreman from public information with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office noted:
“We don’t know what the motives were or what the intentions were of the shooter and we’ll have to wait and see if we can find that information out later on.”
This statement indicated that the reason behind the mass shooting outside EDM festival isn’t known and is yet to be investigated. Neither the victim nor the name of the gunman is released. The legally assigned incumbent team is investigating and will soon make the case public.

The second day of the two days festival, which is meant to be started in the afternoon on Sunday, is canceled. The reason that a gunman arrived from nowhere and start firing into the crowd led to people killed and others injured. To avoid such incidents to happen again, the festival had to be canceled to prevent the inevitable.
Wonderland is one of the longstanding insomniac events that take place annually as a host at the George. There are several other locations in which the festival holds the privilege of hosting.
