It is said that the 48-year-old sought professional help and did her best to fight against depression. Sadly, she couldn’t continue struggling with the overwhelming depression and hence attempted suicide at home.
She was then shifted to the hospital. Despite the best efforts of the hospital team to rescue and treat her from the coma, Coco Lee death date is July 5, 2023, said Sisters.

She won a title in a singing contest that triggered her career in the music industry. She found success in Asia throughout the 1990s. She released her music not only in English but also Mandarin and Cantonese.
The late artist was also famous in the US due to her R&B sounds infused with hip-hop. She was then offered to voice Disney heroine Fa Mulan in the Mandarin version of “Mulan,” released in 1998.
In 2000, it was the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” drove her personality to be globally known.
At the 2001 Oscars Award Ceremony, Lee also performed “A Love Before Time” in a Telecast viewed by tens of millions.
